Jar

Rim-sherd with spout form a lipped jar with vertical neck and piriform body; raised band at juncture of neck and shoulder; tube spout with flaring mouth on upper shoulder; three small handles at spout. Coarse, light red (2.5 YR 6/8 to 5/6) clay with light and dark inclusions, with decoration in black paint and added white paint. Handmade. Dark paint on rim, juction of neck and shoulder, and spout. Added white: traces. Surface eroded. Shape generally similar to MS4720 but with spout, smaller rim, and ridge at the juncture between neck and shoulder.
