| Description | Woman's work basket (.1) and lid (.2). Cylindrical. Rattle in disc of cover. Two-ply twining of spruce root with "lozenge" and "crossing" designs in false embroidery on side: "fern-fronds" and "crossing" on lid. Beaver skin on stretching rack. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, in-between weave (with plain), three-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 12 warps and 16 wefts per square inch. |
