| Description | Wood base, sanded and stained made to hold nobori (幟) banners. There is a different type of wood inset with cutouts of plants. These represent the three friends of winter a plum tree which blossoms in winter, bamboo which springs back after the now has melted, and a pine tree which is always green. There are metal pieces attached to hold the poles of the nobori flags in place. |
