| Description | Part of a pair of porphyry tripods, with bronze rams heads and feet. Round stone basin. Dark purple in color. Flaring rim. Exterior has carved decoration. Exterior and interior surfaces smoothed. Rim has three small holes, which possibly served as attachment points for a tripod. Partial number 1814 is written on the bottom of the basin exterior. |
