| Description | Berrying basket. Cylindrical. Two-ply twining of spruce root with "blanket-border" design in false embroidery: filling and bands of dyed spruce root. Inverted bottom. Tlingit weave and design. Eskimo make [?]. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, in-between weave (with plain), three-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 10 warps and 14 wefts per square inch. |
