Description

Wrapper of a mummy bale

This long textile is one web, since both weft selvages can be seen. Only one finished edge (finishing and ending the warp direction) is still visible. Small strings of an unknown material (bast fiber?) are attached in several places. Small holes where these ties once existed can be seen along the selvage. Color(s): Off-white.
