| Description | CBS Register: clay model. Parthian rider, beard, pointed skull, no turban, horse missing. Arms were round neck. PBS XVI: Male figure. Same type. [hand-modelled, primitive, with club and scimitar] Smaller type. Turban, eyes, and edge of the shawl are missing Small handmade rider with a smoothed head, described as a ‘Parthian cap’. His arms protrude forward and are broken off. The position of his legs indicate that he was likely straddling a horse. He is significantly smaller than the other horse-and-rider figures. His face is handmade with very basic facial features. |
