Round. Outside covered with soft, light-weight, cream-coloured skin; band of reed wrapped with red and yellow thread; straw and cotton braid edging. Inside: tan, twilled weave; zigzag embroidery in red and yellow; at edge, two reeds, one wrapped with yellow and one with red thread. Fitted headband of loose coiled weave; outside this, a reed wrapped with red thread; two woven red thread loops to which neck cord was attached.
