| Description | Ito wood (iron wood). Hollowed log. "This one was used by the Papeete dancing group in the 1925 Fete. One end is rested on the ground and struck by kneeling drummer. It gives the rhythm of the dance. The dances are pantomimes, accompanied by chants of traditional history." |
