| Description | Plate on low foot. Buff clay with brown slip, unevenly applied around the foot. A groove around the edge of the lip. The lip itself is 0.027m wide and raised above the interior of the plate. In the tondo, 2 grooves encircle a wide rouletted band. Next are 2 more grooves, then a plain area around a central nipple-like boss. The exterior of the plate bears a circular groove near the outside edge. |
