| Description | Stemmed dish. Rather heavy foot rises to substantial stem. molding painted purple at top of stem. Shallow bowl. Thickened and rounded rim. In center of floor of bowl a small medallion: cock facing right, encircled by two wheel-painted glazed lines. No incision used in cock. Restored from many fragments. Some pieces missing and restored in plaster. Excellant black glaze. Unglazed: profile of foot and all of underside. Stem hollow. |
