| Description | Small, Pink X Design; squarish almost flat bottom with pointed corners, round top; sides bulge slightly; cane; twilled plaiting. Whole basket done in under 4 over 4 weave. Rim: closely bound with cane. Decoration: X's one on each side and bottom, made by inserting wider pink dyed strips over the foundation material but in the same weave. Dye probably commercial. |
