| Description | -Another base and bottom part of bottle – dark brown, almost opaque glass because so thick. Thick, large base (preserved intact) with cone-shaped projection into body = very deep – (pontil mark) there is a second (pontil) ring around part of base that is upthrust. Glass on base is pocketed, somewhat rough. Body of bottle is cylindrical, straight up from base, broken off about 2-3” from bottom. Glass of body also somewhat pocketed, textured. No distinguishing marks/writing. [2014] |
